Troubleshooting Tips
Problems with Prism Software
• Verify that the correct COM port, created by the
USB or serial connection, is selected in the Job Site
Window. The COM port number is found in <Control
Panel>, <System>, <Hardware>, <Device
Managers>, <Ports>.
• Verify that the phone number of the remote job site
was typed correctly.
Troubleshooting
Problems with the USB Connection
• Verify that the RDY LED lights up when you try to
connect to a job remotely in Prism. If it doesn’t light
up, disconnect and reconnect the USB connection.
• Verify that the USB drivers have been installed
properly.
